First Aid Instructor & FAW Requalification
All WorkSafe first aid instructor qualifications are valid for 3 years.
Prior to expiry of your instructor qualification attendance on a 1 day
First Aid Instructor Requalification programme is required to maintain
your qualification and to ensure continued approval to deliver training.
This 2 day programme will requalify your instructor qualification and also your HSE First Aid at Work certificate.
WorkSafe provide Instructor Requalification to ensure standardisation
and quality control of our first aid training programmes and to maintain
contact with our approved instructors.
Attendance on this programme will also qualify as a verification session for the current approval period.
On completion a certificate of training will be issued validating your
instructor qualification for a further three years and may be used in
evidence for CPD purposes.
Please note:
You must have a current FAW certificate or a certificate that has not expired by more that 28 days to be eligible to attend this programme.
This course is only open to existing WorkSafe approved
First Aid instructors. Instructors approved with other organisations
need to attend the WorkSafe Crossover programme for approval to deliver
WorkSafe training programmes.
